What We Do
LOOK HOW JESUS HAS ENABLED US TO BLESS OTHERS!
- SENIORS and ELDERLY SHUT-IN VISITS: Including fellowship, prayer, homemade soup, errands, "hair-do's" and miscellaneous, general help. This outreach began with just a few and now we visit over a dozen people on a weekly basis.
- GROCERY ASSISTANCE: This is valuable help for families and individuals struggling with unemployment, illness and other transitional circumstances.
- CLOTHING and HOUSEWARES: Items for the young person just starting out and needing a suit for his or her first job interview to single mothers to recovering addicts to home fire victims to folks simply needing a little help to get by.
- TRANSPORTATION: A man transitioning from homelessness prayed for a vehicle so he could get to work. Jesus answered through WOW and a good, used car was provided.
- COMMUNITY PROGRAM SUPPORT: Food & volunteer time/effort at a local shelter and also with on-the-streets homeless outreach, holiday food baskets and Christmas gifts
- MENTORING: Job applications and resumes, work, affordable housing, health and nutrition, time management, budgets and goals....
- EDUCATION: WOW sponsored a "Wisdom on Wealth" financial planning and management seminar that included free one-on-one consultations with the seminar's experts. Attendees who engaged and are practicing the principles are reporting success! Thank you, Jesus!
